The special event paid $1,000 to each of the winners in the IMCA Modified, IMCA Southern Sportmod and Pure Stock classes.

Grand Prairie, Tx., (July 4th, 2008) As part of a big Independence Day racing weekend, Grand Prairie hosted the "Run for the Money 3" part of a series of bonus money races on the 1/4 mile semi-banked 1/4 mile. This weeks incentive was $1,500 to win for the unsanctioned Modifieds feature winner, along with a Dash for Cash pitting the eight top finishers from heat action for $250 From Cox Conservation.
