Car Show at HEB in South Austin

The drivers from Thunderhill Raceway, TSRS Late Models and Texas Pro Sedans showed off their racecars at HEB on Brodie Lane in South Austin on Saturday. The show runs Saturday and Sunday from 11A-5P. Showing their cars were the following: Cary Stapp with his TSRS Late Model and ASA A-Line Super Stock, Cory Lovell with his TSRS Late Model and David Machen's Super Late Model, Mickey McKim in his Super Stock, Ozzy Osborne in his Texas Pro Sedan and Richard Fitch and Mike Farris in their Grand Stocks.

Pleasanton, Tx., (July 5th, 2008) I-37 Raceway celebrated the Independence Day weekend with inaugural Firecracker 3000, sponsored by Douglas Glass, Sundowner RV, Boerne Physical Therapy Institute, C-D Electric, Matco Tools and Custom Control Modules. The special event paid $1,000 to each of the winners in the IMCA Modified, IMCA Southern Sportmod and Pure Stock classes.

Grand Prairie, Tx., (July 4th, 2008) As part of a big Independence Day racing weekend, Grand Prairie hosted the "Run for the Money 3" part of a series of bonus money races on the 1/4 mile semi-banked 1/4 mile. This weeks incentive was $1,500 to win for the unsanctioned Modifieds feature winner, along with a Dash for Cash pitting the eight top finishers from heat action for $250 From Cox Conservation.

National points chasers continue rolling @ Texas Thunder Speedway

Killeen, Tx., (June 28th, 2008) Along with the regular weekly class racing night for the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern Sportmods, IMCA Stock Cars, Street Stock and Texas Twisters, Texas Thunder Speedway's high-banked 1/4 mile also had slated the King of the Hill race for the IMCA Modifieds. Unfortunately inclement weather moving in forced track officials to postpone that race until next week, and save promoter Pat Wilson the $200 bounty on his local hotshoe P J Egbert.

Repeat Winners dominate I-37 Raceway 6/27/08

Pleasanton, Tx., (June 27th, 2008) Repeat winners was the theme for the as every class saw a repeat winner by the dominant driver in the class. Drivers watched the track closely as conditions changed from tacky in the heat races, going dry slick and rubbering up through the features.

Barker loses out to Stewart again; TSRS points leader claims 3rd win

(Houston, TX) When all was said-and-done for the TRACKTEK 75 Texas Super Racing Series (TSRS) late model race at Houston Motorsports Park (HMP) Saturday night, overall points leader Heath Stewart had claimed his third victory in the sixth race of the season by beating Robert Barker (Boerne, TX) to the finish line.
