Lakeville, MN (04-09-07) - Country Joe Racing announced today that James Buescher is slotted to run the #32 Mercedes Homes Dodge at Salem Speedway, April 22, 2007.
The 17-year-old racing phenom is returning to the ARCA RE/MAX Series only a few short weeks after an impressive qualifying effort (outside pole) and historical victory at U.S.A. Speedway, in Lakeland, FL.
Buescher, a Texas native, is the youngest competitor in ARCA RE/MAX Series history to ever win an ARCA event. In addition to victory lane celebrations, James celebrated his 17th birthday only two days after adding his name to the ARCA history books.
“We are thrilled to have James back in the car for Salem,” commented Country Joe Racing Team Manager, Kevin Cywinski. “His accomplishments at Lakeland should definitely boost his confidence. Salem can be tough to get around, but James is a quick study and a solid driver. He will do fine,” concluded Cywinski.
“I am looking forward to working with Country Joe Racing and driving the #32 Mercedes Homes Dodge again,” remarked Buescher. “We are going to test at Salem, so I can get comfortable with the high banked ˝ mile. I am anxious to get back in the (#32) car and continue the momentum we started a few weeks back.”
The Country Joe Racing Team will be testing at Salem Speedway, at the end of the week, preparing for the 4th event on the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule. Check out up-to-date information about Country Joe Racing at www.countryjoeracing.com.
