Happy Father’s Day!
The staff of the United States Racing Association (USRA) and San Antonio Speedway wishes all the dads in the racing community a very restful and Happy Father’s day.
If you’re a dad and involved in racing, we thank you for giving up some of your valuable time with your family to race with us. We hope that you’ve somehow managed to involve your family in your racing activities.
We also hope you take the time to honor your dad today. Many of you owe your interest in motorsports to your dad’s influence.
Terry Dickerson, President & CEO of USRA, shares his sentiments about this special day. “To those of you who are lucky enough to still have your dad around, take the time to pick up the phone and give him a call. Or, better yet, spend some time with him today. Let him know how much you appreciate his love and support. And to those of you who have already lost your dad, take some time to remember how much he influenced your life and helped get you where you are today.”
Again, we hope all of you have a great Father’s Day, and we look forward to seeing at the races next Saturday night.
