SpeedFest special at 281 Speedway
Oct. 21-23 features four IMCA divisions
STEPHENVILLE, Texas 281 Speedway sports four IMCA sanctioned classes for its SpeedFest special Oct. 21-23.
IMCA Sunoco Modifieds and Stock Cars both vie for top prizes of $1,000, making the Modified winner a candidate for the 2006 Lucas Oil All-Star
Invitational field. Jeff¹s Performance Southern SportMod drivers chase a $750 first place check and IMCA Hobby Stock drivers take the green in a $500 to win show.
All four divisions will run 20 lap features. The Modified main pays a minimum of $100 to start, with $75 to non-quali-fiers. Starting the Stock
and Southern SportMod features both pays a minimum of $75, with non-transfers getting $50.
Hobby Stock starters get a minimum of $50 back, with $40 paid to non-transfers.
Entry fee is $50 for Modifieds, $40 for Stock Cars and Southern SportMods, and $30 for Hobby Stocks.
Gates open at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21 for practice and registration.
There is no charge for admission to the grandstand that evening but pit passes will be $15.
Gates open at 3 p.m. and racing is at 6 p.m. Saturday; on Sunday, gates open at 2 p.m. and racing is at 5 p.m.
Admission is $10 Saturday and again Sunday.
