The always popular Bomber Stocks took the track with a race within a race pitting USRA owner Terry Dickerson against Texasspeedzone.com guru, Jason Mutschler. After some pit side trash talking the two lined up for the final race of the night. Coming out to line up, Dickerson gave Mutschler a shot in the door. Fans ponied up a $100 bonus should Mutschler be able to win and take Dickerson out in the process.
As green waved for the Formula 1 type standing start, the field took off leaving Mutschler sitting on the track, dead in the water. After pushing Mutschler off the track, the race restarted with Chuck Perry and Larry Requilman side by side on lap 1, with Perry leading by a bumper. Requilman then took the lead going into turn 1, but got turned around by Tommy Wynd, who would leads laps 2-4. Scott Dean snagged the top spot on lap 5 and go on to capture the victory.
