Texas’ premier touring series heading to Red River with bonus sponsorship

(Austin, TX) Coming off an exciting race last weekend at Thunderhill Raceway (Kyle, TX) where points leader Heath Stewart (Del Valle, TX) held off a late-race charge by ASA driver Cody Smith (La Vernia, TX), Texas Super Racing Series (TSRS) late model drivers make the 5-hour, 310-mile trek to Red River Speedway (Wichita Falls, TX) for their eighth race of the season, the Premier Minerals, Inc. 75.

“We want to honor Frank Gabrysch and his company, Premier Minerals, Inc. for its continued support and sponsorship,” stated Mary Ann Naumann, owner/founder of TSRS. “For the second straight race at Red River, Premier Minerals, Inc. is stepping up and donating $100 per car to help our race teams cover the expenses of coming up here. Frank has been involved in racing for a long time and we appreciate all he – and Premier Minerals – does for local racing.”

Premier Minerals, Inc. of San Antonio leads a host of sponsors who are stepping up to help TSRS drivers and their teams defray the large travel cost to Wichita Falls. That list includes:

• Frank Gabrysch, Premier Minerals – an additional $100 per car
• Red River Speedway/Mike Cooper - $150 for the Fast Qualifier Award, $150 for the Halfway Leader Award
• TSRS – an additional $100 per position
• Anonymous donor – an additional $100 per position
• K-MAC Sports – an additional $100, split between 3rd and 4th place race finishers
• Mike Williams – an additional $500 total
• Rebecca Cooper, CPA (Austin) – an additional $500

“We are definitely blessed that in this tough economic time, we have several wonderful sponsors who will step up for TSRS,” Naumann stated. “We’re thankful to all of them.”

This will be the series’ second-ever race at the famed Red River Speedway race track. Back on June 7th of this year, John Heil of Floresville took the checkered flag.
