San Antonio, Tx.(March 25, 2007) Sunday kicked the final day of IHRA National event at the now-shortened 1/8 mile track. The weekend crowd total was estimated at 28,000 for the three days, with Saturday's "Night of Fire" having over 18,000 come through the gates. Drivers, crews and fans from all over the US and Canada, with car counts totaling 361 filled the pits for the 5th annual event.

Track surface troubles cause change in format.
San Antonio, Tx.(March 24, 2007) After a major oil down in the right lane by Bobby Lagana on Friday night it was discovered the track surface in the right lane was beginning to break up, from the 1/8 mile beams on. Gravel pulling out of the track forced IHRA and SAR officials to make repairs and decisions. Crews worked all night to re-lay and eight foot wide section track from the 1/8 mile timers to the normal finish line.

Aurora, Illinois (February 16, 2007) – O’Reilly Auto Parts has entered into an agreement to become title sponsor of the Live Nation Motor Sports Thunder Jam™ property. The first event of the O’Reilly Auto Parts Thunder Jam presented by Torco Racing Fuels will be March 17 in McAllen, Texas, in the southern part of the state at Edinburg International Racetrack.

NORWALK, Ohio (January 25, 2007) – Beginning with the 2007 season, a winner will be crowned after the night qualifying sessions at each IHRA Nitro Jam™ Drag Racing Series event in the professional categories. Announcing the “Last Man Standing” program, IHRA will ensure fans an entertaining day at the races by giving drivers an extra incentive to perform well, all while creating on-track excitement.

| ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (April 22, 2006) – Rain washed away the final pro qualifying round at Rockingham Dragway Saturday. Prior to that Bob Gilbertson washed away the Torco Racing Fuels Pro Nitro Funny Car track record. Gilbertson, from nearby Gastonia, N.C., clocked a 4.837 second / 312.86 mph pass during afternoon qualifying to claim the top spot and erase Cruz Pedregon’s previous Rockingham best of 4.884 set in 1998.

ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (April 21, 2006) – Driving for the sons of IHRA founder Larry Carrier, Cory McClenathan of Anaheim, Calif., raced to a Rockingham Dragway speed record Friday and took the first day lead in Torco Racing Fuels Top Fuel qualifying at the Nicko’s NY Style Pizza Spring Nationals presented by Advance Auto Parts.
