Waco, Tx., (Sept. 5th, 2008) Waco’s Heart O’ Speedway high-banked ¼ mile clay oval hosted the Fourth Annual IMCA Southern Sportmod Nationals featuring many of the best the south, central regions best drivers from four states. The long awaited showdown between the top two Sportmod drivers in the state, Keith White and Jeff Turner never materialized as Turner opted for the Super Nationals in Boone, Iowa.

P J Egbert rolls on for Heart O' Texas Speedway win, 5/25/08

Kileen, TX (May 25, 2008) - Despite having his engine claimed at Texas Thunder Speedway Saturday night, Copperas Cove's P J Egbert got the ultimate revenge. Egbert used the motor he got with the swap option and parlayed that into yet another victory for the former IMCA Regional Champion and Modified Rookie of the Year.

Johnson continues hot streak in ASCS Gulf South vs Sooner Region Shootout

Louisiana’s Jason Johnson, fresh off an impressive ASCoT Speedweek tour used that momentum at Heart O’ Texas Speedway Friday night to score another victory. Johnson worked his way up from row three, took over the lead on lap 12 and survived a close call in traffic on his way to the win on the 1/4 mile high-banked clay track just north of Waco.

Memorial weekend special @ Heart O Texas Speedway 5/28/06

Sunday night Heart O Texas Speedway(Waco) hosted a special show on the high-banked 1.4 mile clay track headlined by the Sprint Series of Texas. Despite being down on horsepower with a 305 CI motor rule, these winged warriors put on a show equal to that of their outlaw motored brothers.

The 18-car IMCA Modified main saw John Bolfing and Stephen Carter lead the way at the start of the 20 lap event. Bolfing was first into turn 1, but it was G W Egbert from row two getting the lead coming out of turn 2.
