National points chasers continue rolling @ Texas Thunder Speedway
Killeen, Tx., (June 28th, 2008) Along with the regular weekly class racing night for the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern Sportmods, IMCA Stock Cars, Street Stock and Texas Twisters, Texas Thunder Speedway's high-banked 1/4 mile also had slated the King of the Hill race for the IMCA Modifieds. Unfortunately inclement weather moving in forced track officials to postpone that race until next week, and save promoter Pat Wilson the $200 bounty on his local hotshoe P J Egbert.

Tonight's added attraction was the Southern States Midget Association.

Dodge Country night at the Races, Texas Thunder Spwy. 7/7/07
Killeen, Tx. (July 7, 2007) With many area tracks suffering from the seemingly never ending rains, track Promoter Pat Wilson has been able to work his magic and get racing in. Despite a quick heavy downpour around 4:30, Wilson opened the gates and nearly 100 teams filled the pits for the scheduled events for the night, including the IMCA Modified “King of the Hill” that would cap off the night.

Dodge Country has hot deals on new and used cars, and they sponsored another hot night of great racing at Texas Thunder Speedway. A record number of claims was seen in the Budweiser Racing Texas Twisters, and the Cottman Transmissions Mini Stocks saw an engine swap.

Fireworks on and off the track at Texas Thunder Speedway
Killeen, TX (July 10, 2006) - Norton Automotive sponsored the great racing at Central Texas' Premier Racing facility. The fireworks were provided by Ft. Hood, as they shoot off their fourth of July show four days late. The on the track fireworks were provided by the 105 cars in the pit area.
