Smith debuted with 5K Motorsports in 2007 competing in four ASA Late Model Series South Division events in Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina. The former Texas Hobby Stock Champion was very impressive in those four ASALMS events as well as the test 5K conducted at the Slinger Super Speedway – Slinger Wisconsin. “I can’t tell you how excited I am” Smith said. “ 5K showed me last season what they can do and this is a great opportunity for me to compete in the ASA Late Model Series.
